Raleigh Rickshaws are a convenient, sensible, and environmentally friendly way to travel distances that are too near to drive or take a taxi, but too far to walk. While you can reserve a rickshaw in advance (they ask that you do so 30 minutes in advance), there is a fee; otherwise, you can just hail a rickshaw on the street and pay only the tip.
