    We are about two months away from the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse!!! If you are still looking for ways to engage the public, don't panic! The NISE Network has compiled a comprehensive list of the resources available to help you celebrate safely and engage with your community around the science of solar eclipses.


    • Compilation of solar eclipse public engagement resources
      Compilation of resources for solar eclipse public engagement including hands-on activities, safe viewing, maps, event planning, citizen science, live-streaming, citizen science, sensory resources, cultural connections, and more:

    • Recorded online workshop of museums sharing their local event planning (60 minutes)
      Presenters include: Rochester Museum & Science Center in Rochester, NY; Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill, NC; Fort Worth Museum of Science and History; Bootheel Youth Museum in Malden, MO; Thinkery in Austin, TX; and Children's Museum of Indianapolis:

    • Recorded online workshop featuring public engagement resources (60 minutes)
      Presenters include: NASA GLOBE Observer, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Eclipse Soundscapes Project National Science Teaching Association, Exploratorium, Astronomical Society of the Pacific, and the NISE Network:
