In September, Gabbie from Hartford and Katerina from Columbus had a great conversation about the resources they created for the network. Gabbie created a literature based gaming resource and Katerina created a business plan checklist for artists. Sarah, Alex and Cassidy from Anythink LIbrary in Colorado also recorded a podcast highlighting the resources they created for the YOUmedia Network. Sarah wrote a guide for creating cost-effective passive programs, Alex focused on tips for a multigenerational makerspace and Cassidy shared ideas for helping customers level up their skills. Check out the podcasts for more info about the resources and then check out the resources!

The members of the CoP are an amazing resource and in September, that was very evident. Cody in Montana asked for some advice on speaker fees for visiting speakers, Sarah in Portland asked for info on hiring a youth focused Social Worker at the library and Eric in San Francisco asked about relationships with IT. Several people chimed in with ideas and answers to these questions. If you have been wondering about some of these things too, check out the answers. If you have been wondering about something else, start a new discussion and get expert help!

The CoP is also just a great place to share your successful programs and spaces. Patricia in Norfolk shared pictures from the opening of their new YOUmedia space. Their community is excited about this new space and we are too!
