November 2016 roundup

November 2016 Roundup

Two new podcasts were posted in November. Niq Tognoni kicked of the 1st episode of the new "Meet the Mentor" series with a great interview with Jeff Hodges from Chicago. There was also an interesting podcast about mobile maker spaces and programs featuring info from the new Maker Space Ship in San Jose and Nashville's work in community centers and juvenile detention centers.

You can find them all in the podcasts section.

November generated quite a bit of conversation but mostly centered on one topic. Some good resources were shared on helping young people process the election results and figure out how they might want to focus on in the future. These resources are very relevant right now but can be useful anytime. There was also some discussion around in-depth coding workshops in libraries. There was also a discussion about Augmented Reality with a link to a program at the Field Museum. Check them all out here!
